How to Install pump software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pump software package provides BOOTP and DHCP client for automatic IP configuration, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pump

pump is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pump package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pump *

You will get with pump package name, version, architecture and description in a table
